Who writes and reviews our content

Alvaro Cordova, NJ Licensed Ophthalmic Dispenser and co-owner of Crystal Eyecare, authors, researches, and reviews the content on this site. Clinical and health-related content is medically reviewed by Dr. Robin Greenfield, OD, Optometric Physician and co-owner of the practice.

How we research and source

Clinical topics draw on peer-reviewed literature and primary sources, which are cited on the page where they apply. We also draw on our own first-hand clinical and fabrication experience at the practice, for example, scleral and specialty lens fittings, low vision evaluations, and in-house ptosis crutch and bespoke eyewear work. We keep that professional experience distinct from cited published evidence.

Accuracy, corrections, and updates
