Beyond 20/20 Vision Therapy Clinic — Dr. Kirti Patel. She offers vision therapy services across the country and, more importantly, is a competent and compassionate eye doctor who helps children and traumatic brain injury (TBI) sufferers with their visual challenges. Crystal Eyecare's optician, Alvaro Cordova, would volunteer from time to time to learn about TBI and vision therapy.
Integrative Vision — Dr. Neda Gioia offers a unique point of view as NJ's only Nutritional Optometrist (at the time of this entry, 2022). Alvaro would lend a hand at Integrative Vision now and again; on one such visit, testing surfaced a celiac disease diagnosis for him — a surprising find, and a striking example of what a holistic, functional perspective can reveal.
